Cleveland Motel is an ideal venue for your next special occasion, no matter what it might be. We're a great location for your festivities next time you're planning a birthday, wedding, anniversary, reunion, or just a celebration!
Because of our size, we can cater to large groups and are happy for you to book our entire facility if required. We have kitchen facilities for the preparation of food or we can organise anything your event might require - catering from finger food through to 5-course dinners, marquees, transport, decorations, or special facilities or equipment (such as a bouncy castle!). Alternatively, we're happy to host and leave the arrangements largely up to you - just get in touch with us about your upcoming event and we can talk to you about your requirements and options and make recommendations if you need them.
We're also a great option for sporting or other travelling groups, with our large capacity enabling your groups to stay at the one location. Our large and well maintained field also provides plenty of room for drills and practice, or just games or a picnic!
We had the best time ever staying at the Cleveland Motel in Rotorua at the end of March 2012 for our wedding weekend. We had visited up to 40 locations before carefully choosing the Cleveland for this very special occasion.
The owners, Brij and Ronette, made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door to enquire about their facilities. We booked out the entire motel for our weekend. This included a full-day function the day after our wedding, catering for in excess of 130, including many children. With an abundance of space with swings, trampolines, heated swimming pool, as well as loads of grass area for our hired marquee (with dance floor), hired bouncy castle and for the kids to run around and play games, The Cleveland was ideal for our function. We enjoyed good fun all day long. It was the perfect day to celebrate being Mr and Mrs Thomas with all our dear family and friends. Brij and Ronette were so accommodating in so many ways in the lead up to our stay, as well as during the course of the weekend to ensure our function went perfectly for us and all our guests were well looked after.
We had 20 guests from overseas (mainly from Wales), and they were very touched by how wonderful their stay at the Cleveland was. All our guests were buzzing about their stay on their departures. Everyone loved the venue, surroundings, and facilities and couldn't speak highly enough of the hospitality they received from Brij and Ronette. They assured us that they would definitely be returning again some time in the not too distant future.
If you are looking for a motel in Rotorua for a special event, corporate gathering, a family get-away, a place to stay, then we highly recommend the Cleveland Motel as a place for you to go and enjoy. It has great facilities, a beautiful heated outdoor pool, is kid-friendly with lots of space, swings and trampolines, clean and very tidy, has indoor mineral pools and most importantly the kindest and warmest hospitality. Another great thing was the convenience of all the food stores directly across the road from the motel. Everyone could easily stock up on supplies, food, drink, fresh produce, butcher and bakery.
We had a perfect wedding, the perfect weather, staying at the most perfect motel, in a perfect spot of NZ. We will all remember this wonderful time in our lives forever!
